Oregon F&W busts 6-year-old for selling frogs

FrogboyAn article appearing in the Wallowa County (OR) Chieftain about 6-year-old entrepreneur Cole Gomes' pet frog-selling business caught the attention of someone at Oregon Fish and Wildlife who identified the amphibians as Rana pretiosa, a species protected in the state. As a result, the agency shut down Cole's business, albeit temporarily. He's now selling exotic African water frogs he bought at Wal-Mart. In The East Oregonian.
