A Florida man accidentally shot his wife in the leg with a .22 cal. rifle this morning while attempting to kill a gray fox as it attacked her. The Gainesville Sun reports that paramedics had to pry the dead animal from the woman's leg. She is recovering from her injuries and the fox carcass will be tested for rabies.
