Trapped Utah angler rescued from river after 16 hours

A Utah angler whose foot became wedged under a 5-ton boulder while he was fishing a mountain creek Monday was rescued after being trapped in the waist-deep water overnight. It took rescuers 90 minutes working in the 55-degree water to raise the boulder enough to free Dean Ririe. Ririe, 52, was suffering from hypothermia but was otherwise uninjured, according to authorities. In The Deseret News.
