Sleeping NJ sunbather awakened by licking bear

The monthly New Jersey Fish and Game Council bear activity report covering May 20 to June 20 indicates at least 6 bears were shot by state or local authorities for actions including charging a police officer, breaking into a house or approaching picnickers. A brazen bruin that woke up a sleeping sunbather after licking her on the elbow, was frightened away by the screaming woman and will live to lick again. In The NJ Herald.
