6 bear-hunting hounds killed by wolves in N. Idaho
Members of the Schilling family of Kamiah, Idaho, say that six of their prized Walker hounds were killed by wolves Sunday while the dogs were running bears in the northern part of the state. Via AP.

Is it common that wolves run into hounds in this area. how prevelant are the wolves?
