BLM purchases Zane Grey's Rogue River retreat
Author Zane Grey's historic cabin located on Oregon's Rogue River has been sold to the US Bureau of Land Management by the Trust for Public Lands--ensuring that the site will remain open to public. While fishing for steelhead on the river in 1926, Grey purchased a 32-acre mining claim, where he built the rustic, one-room cabin. AP reports.
