Sharpshooters target deer in suburban N.J. hunt
Today, sharpshooters at a suburban northern New Jersey nature preserve began a 10-day deer-depredation hunt scheduled for each Tuesday and Thursday through Feb. 28. Since this is New Jersey, rest assured there were plenty of whining residents and animal activists speaking out against the action, as well as an Associated Press writer eager to give them ink.
Actually I thought the article was rather well presented. It gave both sides and had much more fact based reporting FOR the hunt including rebuttals on contraception and trapping.
